Andrie is a privately held company owned by the Andrie family. The company started with 25 employees, two tugs, and two tank barges.
Andrie purchased its fourth tug and was awarded a contract to manage Lafarge Corporation’s new ATB, the G.L. Ostrander and Integrity.
Stan Andrie purchased Inland Lakes Management, Inc. (ILM), and Andrie began to manage the Lafarge U.S.-Flag Great Lakes fleet of five ships.
Andrie was awarded a long-term contract from Lafarge to manage the Innovation, a new self-unloading barge paired with a retrofitted tug, the Samuel de Champlain.
Andrie successfully bid on a long-term contract to design, construct, own, and operate a 50,000 barrel tank barge and tug for BP. The ATB was delivered to BP service in 2009.
Andrie signed a multi-year contract with Occidental Chemical Company to manage a 63,000 barrel capacity ATB. This vessel is in the calcium chloride trade and is currently under renewed contract.
Andrie secured a multi-year contract to manage a 70,000 barrel tank barge unit for U.S. Venture, Inc. This vessel is in the light oil products trade and is currently under contract.
Andrie was awarded the contract to manage an additional tank barge unit for U.S. Venture, Inc.
